This is what I wanted to share with you.
Another track off that Portico Quartet EP.
I'm moving tomorrow. This is what I have, and this is what I'm taking:
That's 12 boxes, two suitcases, two backpacks, a "Czech plumber bag," and a lime inCase laptop case (which will go in the backpack). Also a file cabinet (visible in upper right, on shelf). Not visible is a large laundry hamper full of clothes, a nice suit, and two folding chairs (a boy's got to have a place to sit).
One time I made a dish with soba noodles and avocado and it was really, really good.
Today I tried to make it again and it was much less good.
I think the noodles were not as good, because they didn't have the strong, smooth texture that the other ones had had. Instead, they went from underdone (too tough) to overdone (mushy, disintegrating) quite quickly. Maybe that was my fault.
At any rate, it's a pretty good combination of tastes: soba, avocado, and soy sauce. You can add other things, too.
How does gasoline (or diesel) light up your life?

Strange fact gleaned from LinkedIn: a guy I worked with at Amazon was thereafter the sole proprietor of Sad Robot records, who put out the albums of one of my favorite bands—Carissa's Wierd.
